Dr. N. Singh has been a Professor of Physics and Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences at M. D. University, Rohtak (Haryana). He has been the Head of the Physics Department at M.D. University for two terms of three years each. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in 1976 from Physics Department, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the field of Solid State Physics. He was awarded Danish Govt. Fellowship (DANIDA) for doing postdoctoral work at Copenhagen University, Denmark in 1978. He has been a regular visitor of Neil Bohr Institute in connection with his research work, while staying at Copenhagen University as postdoctoral fellow. He has published more than 50 research articles in the international journals of repute having impact factor and also authored books for national and international publishers.
