R.P. Punagin

R. P. Punagin began his teaching career way back in 1964. After his retirement as Principal of K.L.E. Society’s M.S. Seshagiri College of Engineering and Technology, Belagavi, he served as Principal of Bahubali College of Engineering, Shravanabelagola, and Prof. and Head of E&C in SJCIT Chikkaballapur. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) Computer Society, a Senior member of IEEE(USA), Life member of Indian Society Technical Education(ISTE), and Life Member of Laser Society of India (Indore). He is a recipient of “Distinguished Engineers Award” from the Institution of Engineers India, Belagavi local centre, and a “Seva Ratna Award” from Pujya Siddarama Maha Swamiji of Naganoor Rudrakshi Mutt of Belagavi. Prof. Punagin’s areas of interest include Digital Computers, microcontrollers, Electrical Engineering, and Network Analysis. He has several publications to his credit. He has translated two AICTE textbooks into Kannada and written one textbook for VTU in Kannada.
