This book contains three parts. The first part consists of the NAAC evaluation report, and the summary of Academic, Administrative and Examination reforms, Digitisation, infrastructure development including renovations and new buildings for UVCE, implementation of the New Education Policy, starting of thirty two new courses, development of green environment with planting of more than two lakhs saplings, welfare measures for teaching, non-teaching, guest faculty, students and outsourced employees and many more activities in Bangalore University during 2018-2022.

The book throws light on the journey of Bangalore University, which was established in the year 1964 with just 32 colleges and expanded to more than 600 colleges in 2013, making it very difficult to handle administratively. It was a huge task to conduct examinations and announce results of hundreds of courses pursued by more than three lakhs students.

The second part of the book is the report on the Restructuring of Bangalore University and UVCE as a Centre of Excellence, into four Universities, viz., Bangalore University, Bangalore Central (City) University, Bangalore North University and University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. The third part contains the report of the UVCE act based on the model of IIT. I hope each and every reader will appreciate the journey of this 60 year old Bangalore University, which has been able to rise to a position of A++ NAAC grade with a score of 3.75, standing first among the public universities in the country.
