Vartika Mathur obtained M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees from the University of Delhi and is Assistant Professor in Dept. of Zoology, Sri Venkateswara College. In her 6 years of teaching experience, she has gained expertise in teaching Ecology and Environmental Management to B.Sc. (Hons. and Gen.) students of Delhi University. She is currently holding NUFFIC fellowship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Netherlands, to pursue Ph.D. from Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW) and Wageningen University, the Netherlands and is working on direct and indirect defences in Indian mustard.
