The good practices captured in this edition cover very significant topics like water harvesting, land development, soil and moisture conservation, and raising plantations. I strongly feel that these good practices should be brought forward through such publications so that the same may inspire many hearts and can be replicated elsewhere. The book contains 12 best practices in the MGNREGA Scheme which have emerged as a result of studies carried out in various states, at the village or rural-community level.
